  1. Seriously one of the greatest, most heartbreaking films about race. Should be required viewing for everyone in the United States.

  2. Criterion is also releasing Do The Right Thing on July 23. Criterion are the top of the top when it comes to blu-ray / dvd releases.

  3. > Three decades later, the block is still standing. Universal Pictures is marking the 30th anniversary of Spike Lee’s incendiary and still-topical Do the Right Thing with a remastered 4K restoration that will hit theaters June 28.

  4. Side note: does anyone know where you can buy Radio Raheem’s shirt? I can find s**tty clones of it online but the graphic isn’t across the entire chest the way it is in his.

  5. Holy crap. This is my favorite movie of all time. Each character is fully realized, and the culture of the neighborhood feels EXACTLY like the one I grew up in. I cannot wait to see it in theaters!

  6. 30 years later, Americans still argue the same crap. In 30 years nothing will change because Hollywood doesn’t want it to.

  7. This guy is a race baiting m***n. And doesn’t pay the people who work on his projects, also steals artworks to put on his movies.

    Absolute slimeball.
