  1. Going ahead and mentioning that this is **not** counting DVR viewership

    I’d like to preface this as someone who’s a fan of both shows and I’m not here for the tired “Walking Dead sucks now” comment but I’m also not stupid and realize that this isn’t that great

    I do believe that this is an underperformance from what we were honestly expecting

    It was mentioned in the thread over on r/FearTheWalkingDead that bringing back Daniel and bringing Dwight over from the main show could potentially get a little increase in viewership

    I’m hoping for next week with Daniel’s return that there’s enough interest to at least keep the ratings stable

    I hope this is a slap in the face to Scott Gimple that simply bringing over characters from the main show can’t fix or improve something in its own, that we need good dialogue and interesting story arcs

    This also isn’t just the Madison fan in my saying this, but I believe that Madison returning would be the only thing that could bring at least a a small spike in viewership from some of the original fans that left the show after S4, even if it’s just a short amount of time because if she isnt written correctly, it’ll be the same story all over again
