  1. Is Stargate worth watching nowadays? I know literally nothing about it, but I’ve heard a lot of people talk highly about it.

  2. Does anyone else find it odd that there aren’t more fan made stargate replicas out there? I know it’s a big project but you’d think there’d be a few more than this.

  3. I still miss Stargate. Nothing has quite replaced that joy hole the show left. The Closest would be the Orville but that still doesn’t do it.

  4. I mean the effort is impressive but why not build a replica of the much more iconic Cheyenne Mountain Stargate Command Gate from the film and television series?

For the record I loved Atlantis and still think it’s a great example of how to do a totally fun and entertaining spin-off series.

  5. That thing cost 60 grand? Not really living up to the Mac Guyver name eh. Unless they are just baby Macs and therefore idiots

  6. Did no one tell them that the stargates aren’t covered in shitty leds?

And that the bits that light up are the “cheverons” when they lock?

    (The triangle things)

I’m aware of atlantis, why add the complication and expense to copy the shittiest gate.
