  1. THIS IS AWESOME!! Why? Because she has the eye of millions of kids, a lot of them from the South. As a southerner and mother of a trans kid, I will gladly accept any public figure who continues to spread positive messages. Kids will feel empowered to be themselves in a more accepting world. This also creates more allys. Good for her!

  2. So brave. Pretty sure the world knows by now if you don’t support gay rights you’re a piece of shit.

  3. Wow what a bold statement… for 10 years ago.

This song is the musical equivalent of a corporation changing its logo for pride month.

  4. I don’t understand why she was dead silent on this (or any) issue until like exactly one year ago. She doesn’t come across as money-grabbing or anything to me, but it’s been strange to see

  5. Cool. I mean it’s hardly the kind of statement it used to be to support gay equality. Because it’s such a safe position, it’s far more risky not to. But that doesn’t make me enjoy the song and the support any less.

  6. And I have a dislike of attention whores like this cunt, but I let people live the way they want. Reminds me of star track the borg, we all must think alike.
